The price per day for the All-Inclusive Pass decreases noticeably with each additional day: from the full daily price for the 1-day pass to around 400 SEK per day for the 5-day pass. With the Essentials Pass, there is no daily bill because you don't book days, but exactly 3 attractions and have 30 days to do so.
Stockholm Card for children - how much does it cost?
Both Stockholm Passes have a separate, significantly reduced children's rate for children aged 6 to 15. Children under the age of 6 do not need their own Stockholm Card at most attractions because admission is free for them anyway. There are no special discounts for students, senior citizens or the military with Go City.

The All-Inclusive Pass is often the better choice for families: the children's ticket is relatively inexpensive, and children particularly benefit from attractions such as Skansen, Gröna Lund or the Toy Museum, which are only covered by the All-Inclusive Pass.
Family projection: 2 adults + 2 children, 5 days
A typical example of a family staying in Stockholm for five days with around ten attractions spread over the week - Vasa Museum, Skansen, Gröna Lund, Viking Museum, Royal Palace, Drottningholm with boat tour, hop-on hop-off, SkyView and a Swedish fika.
Children under the age of 6 are not included in the bill because they usually do not require their own Stockholm Card. The exact prices for children at individual attractions may vary.
How much are you really saving?
Three typical Stockholm trips - with a clearly itemised programme and comprehensible invoice. All individual tickets are prices for adults from the official fares.
Cruise stop · 1 day · 3 highlights
Our recommendation: Essentials Pass
Arrival by cruise ship in Stockholm, a full day remains. You want to see the top highlights without getting stressed. Selection with mandatory choice rule: Vasa Museum as top highlight plus 2 more from the 12 Essentials options.
Vasa Museum as a must-see from the top 3.
Royal Djurgården boat trip, one hour.
ICEBAR Stockholm before the ship departs.
With only three attractions, the All-Inclusive Pass isn't worth it here — it would be more expensive than the Essentials Pass.
City break · 3 days · 8 stops
Our Recommendation: 3-Day All-Inclusive Pass
A classic three-day Stockholm trip, approximately 2 to 3 attractions per day, including a boat tour and hop-on hop-off.
Royal Palace Stockholm, Fotografiska, boat trip to the highlights over 2h15.
Vasa Museum, Skansen, Hop-on Hop-off Bus.
Boat trip to Drottningholm Palace and back, palace and park.
With the All-Inclusive Pass you can spontaneously add more attractions - the savings increase accordingly.
Family · 5 days · relaxed pace
Our recommendation: 5-day All-Inclusive Pass
A family of 2 adults and 2 children aged between 6 and 15 is spending 5 days in Stockholm, visiting approximately 2 attractions per day.
Vasa Museum, Skansen, Gröna Lund, Viking Museum, Stockholm Royal Palace, Drottningholm boat tour, Drottningholm Palace, hop-on hop-off bus, SkyView and Swedish fika.
Children under 6 usually do not need their own Stockholm Card. Child prices vary by attraction.
But is it worth it in your specific case?
The examples above show typical journeys. However, your own trip may look very different. Therefore, select the number of days and the attractions you would really like to visit in the savings calculator. You will then see live which Stockholm Card is the cheapest for you and how much you will save compared to individual tickets.
Savings calculator: which Stockholm Pass suits your trip?
Choose the number of days you'll be in Stockholm and the attractions you'd genuinely like to visit. We'll calculate live for you when the All-Inclusive Pass is cheaper and when the Essentials Pass is cheaper.
How many days are you in Stockholm?
Which attractions would you like to visit?
Individual prices for adults as per Go City. The Essentials Pass is subject to a mandatory selection rule: exactly one of the following: the Vasa Museum, the Royal Palace or Skansen, plus two further attractions from the 12 Essentials options. Attractions marked „All-Inclusive only“ are not included in the Essentials Pass.
Mandatory Choice Essentials Pass — exactly 1 of these
Further Essentials options — 2 selectable

The rule of thumb
If you want to visit at least 4 attractions in a maximum of 5 consecutive days, the All-Inclusive Pass is almost always cheaper than individual tickets and much more flexible.
If you want to visit exactly 3 top highlights over several days and nothing else, the Essentials Pass is the best choice.
If you are unsure, take the all-inclusive pass: the opportunity to spontaneously go to an additional attraction is usually worth more than the price difference of around 300 SEK to the Essentials Pass.
Cancellation and refund
Both Stockholm Passes can be fully cancelled and refunded within 90 days of purchase - as long as the Stockholm Card has not yet been activated, i.e. has not yet been scanned for the first time. This means you can buy the Stockholm Card in advance with peace of mind, even if your travel plans have not yet been finalised.
The validity runs from the first scan: for the All-Inclusive Pass the number of consecutive calendar days purchased, for the Essentials Pass 30 days for your 3 attractions. An activated Stockholm Card is no longer refundable. As the Stockholm Card is not in your name, you can also give an unused Stockholm Card as a gift - it can be activated for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Frequently asked questions about prices
The most important questions about prices, discounts and conversion. You can find more detailed answers about using, activating and comparing the All-Inclusive Pass and Essentials Pass on the FAQ page.
Is there a discount for students, senior citizens or the military?
No. Go City does not offer any special discounts outside of children's prices - neither for students nor for seniors or military. The only additional discount you get is via the discount code CITYVERG05, which takes 5 per cent off both passes and applies to all buyers. Children aged 6 to 15 pay a reduced rate anyway, and children under 6 usually don't need their own Stockholm Card.
Is the euro conversion guaranteed?
No. The prices of Stockholm Card are calculated in Swedish kronor. The euro values on this page are approximate values at the exchange rate of approx. 1 SEC = 0.09 EUR, What you end up paying in euros depends on the daily exchange rate and your bank or credit card. For the exact final amount, it is best to refer to the crown price in the order process.
When will the prices change?
Go City adjusts the prices of Stockholm Card from time to time, usually seasonally. The prices on this page are as of 2026. The price shown during the ordering process on the Go-City website is always decisive. If you buy the Stockholm Card in advance, you are guaranteed the current price - and can cancel free of charge within 90 days if your plans change.
How does the discount code work?
Enter the code CITYVERG05 in the discount code field when ordering on the Go City website. The 5 per cent discount will be deducted directly from the total amount and applies to both the All-Inclusive Pass and the Essentials Pass. The code can be combined with the regular prices and also works for several Stockholm Passes in one order, for example for a whole family.
Where can I buy cheaper - directly from Go City or from a reseller?
The Stockholm Card comes directly from Go City. Our booking link takes you to the official Go City shop and you pay the regular price - with the code CITYVERG05 even 5 per cent less. Resellers rarely offer a lower price and often exclude you from guarantees such as the 90-day cancellation policy. Buying directly from Go City is therefore usually the cheapest and safest option.
