Combining Stockholm Pass with the ABBA Museum - how it works in 2026

The ABBA Museum is not included in the Stockholm Card - but there are two easy ways to get both. Here you can see which one suits your trip.

  • Combi-ticket at Tiqets: Stockholm Pass + ABBA Museum in one purchase.
  • Single ticket ABBA Museum at Tiqets: Fast Track entry with free cancellation.
  • Audio guide available in 12 languages.
  • Both options with 5 % promotional discount at Tiqets.

Why is the ABBA Museum not included in the Stockholm Card?

The Stockholm Card is operated by Go City and includes 69 attractions, including the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace, Skansen, Drottningholm Palace and several boat tours. However, the ABBA Museum is operated independently of ABBA itself and Pop House Entertainment - and is not a partner attraction of Go City. Therefore, there is no pass model that includes ABBA directly.

Instead, Tiqets - a global ticket platform with an official licence agreement with both providers - has put together a bundle: Stockholm All-Inclusive Pass plus ABBA Museum admission in one booking. This is the only way to get both with one click.

Your two options

Both routes lead to the ABBA Museum. Which one suits you better depends on whether you want to book the Stockholm Pass anyway or not.

What can you expect at the ABBA Museum?

The ABBA Museum on the island of Djurgården is more than just a classic showcase exhibition. It is designed to be interactive: You stand on a replica stage, sing in the legendary Polar Studio (where ABBA actually recorded), test your ABBA knowledge in the quiz and see original costumes, golden records and memorabilia from the band's entire history. The motto of the museum: „Go in. Dance your heart out.“

Highlights of your visit

  • Polar Studio Recreation - the recreated recording room where ABBA recorded many of their hits. You can sing there yourself.
  • Original costumes - the iconic stage costumes from the 70s in display cases.
  • Interactive stations - Karaoke, dance floor, virtual stage, ABBA quiz.
  • Helicopter cover - the famous helicopter from the „Arrival“ album cover is a replica in the museum.
  • Special exhibitions - changing themed exhibitions are included in the ticket.

Stockholm Pass benefits nearby

Djurgården is an ideal pass island: the Vasa Museum, Skansen, the Nordiska museet, the Spritmuseum, the Vrak Museum of Wrecks and the Gröna Lund amusement park are all within five to ten minutes' walk of the ABBA Museum. If you book the ABBA combi-ticket, you can spend the whole day in Djurgården with the Stockholm Pass without paying extra for other attractions.

Insider tips for your ABBA visit

Best time to visit

The ABBA Museum is at its emptiest on weekday mornings immediately after opening (10:00 am) - especially on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Saturdays in summer and bad weather days between November and March are full days, as many tourists then switch from outdoor activities to the indoor programme. If you want to do karaoke and interactive stations without queuing, you should book the first slot of the day.

How much time should I allow?

Plan a full 2 hours - the interactive stations (dance floor, Polar Studio, karaoke, stage experience) take time. Pure showcase visitors can make it in 60 to 90 minutes, but then you are only utilising a fraction of the concept.

With children

The ABBA Museum is suitable for all ages. The karaoke and dance stations are particularly popular with children. Pushchairs are not allowed in the museum - baby carriers are provided free of charge on site.

Family tip: The Gröna Lund amusement park is located directly in front of the museum. This is included in the Stockholm All-Inclusive Pass - a perfect all-day plan for families.

Photography

Photography without flash is permitted throughout the museum. The Karaoke and Polar Studio stations automatically produce souvenir videos that you can have sent to you by e-mail.

Combine with Vasa and Skansen

A typical Djurgården day plan: Vasa Museum (the most visited museum in Scandinavia, included in the Stockholm Pass) in the morning, lunch break on the island, ABBA Museum in the afternoon, optional Skansen (open-air museum with historic houses, also included in the pass) in the evening. This is doable in a full day if you start early.

Frequently asked questions about ABBA Museum and Stockholm Pass

Is the ABBA Museum really not included in the Stockholm Card?

No - neither in the All-Inclusive Pass nor in the Essentials Pass from Go City. The ABBA Museum is not a partner attraction. The only way to book both together is with the Tiqets Combo Ticket. Alternatively, you can buy the pass directly from Go City and the ABBA single ticket separately from Tiqets.

Is the combi-ticket worthwhile compared to individual bookings?

If you would book the Stockholm All-Inclusive Pass anyway, yes: you save the second booking and currently get a 5 % discount from Tiqets. If you are still unsure about the pass or only want an Essentials Pass, it is worth booking separately - the Essentials Pass is not offered with the combination.

How long does a visit to the ABBA Museum take?

Around 2 hours if you try out the interactive stations (karaoke, Polar Studio, dance floor, quiz). If you just want to look at the exhibits, you can get by in 60 to 90 minutes.

Can I cancel my ABBA ticket?

Yes, the Tiqets single ticket allows free cancellation up to 24 hours before your visit - you will receive a full refund. The Stockholm Pass cancellation rules apply to the combined ticket: 90 days from purchase, provided the pass has not yet been activated.

Which attractions around the ABBA Museum can I visit with the pass?

Djurgården is a real pass island: Vasa Museum (5 min walk, in the pass), Skansen (10 min, in the pass), Nordiska museet (5 min, in the pass), Spritmuseum (3 min, in the pass), Vrak Museum of Wrecks (5 min, in the pass) and Gröna Lund (1 min, in the pass). You can spend a whole day in Djurgården and only cover ABBA as an add-on via Tiqets.
