You choose 3 from this list — with a mandatory choice rule. The All-Inclusive Pass includes all 15.
Mandatory choice: 1 out of these 3
- Vasa Museum
- The Royal Palace of Stockholm
- Skansen Open-Air Museum
Plus 2 optional choices from these 12

When is which pass worth it?
Four typical Stockholm travel scenarios with specific pass recommendations. If you find yourself in one of them, you'll make the decision in a matter of seconds.
Weekend city break · 2 days · clear plan
You're in Stockholm from Friday evening to Sunday and want to see exactly 3 highlights – for example, the Vasa Museum (a top must-see), Fotografiska, and the Viking Museum. The Essentials Pass covers precisely this plan.
Extended stay · 4 to 5 days · see a lot
You're in Stockholm for a limited time and want to see it all: the Vasa Museum, the Royal Palace, Skansen, Drottningholm, a archipelago tour, boat trips, and Gröna Lund. With the All-Inclusive 5-Day Pass, the daily price is now only around 400 SEK.
Day-tripper · Cruise stop · 1 day
You're arriving by cruise ship or only have a stopover day. You want to experience as much as possible in a short amount of time — perhaps the Royal Palace, Storkyrkan, a hop-on hop-off bus, and the Vasa Museum, plus a boat trip. The 1-Day All-Inclusive Pass opens everything up for you spontaneously.
Family trip with children · 2 to 3 days
You are travelling with children (aged 6 to 15). Child tickets are significantly cheaper on the All-Inclusive Pass compared to the Essentials Pass ratio. Furthermore, flexibility is more important for families than precise planning: spontaneous visits to Gröna Lund or the Toy Museum rather than strict pre-selection.
The rule of thumb
If you want to visit at least 4 attractions over a maximum of 5 consecutive days, the All-Inclusive Pass is almost always cheaper and much more flexible.
If you want to visit exactly 3 top highlights over several days and nothing else, the Essentials Pass is the best choice.
If you’re not sure, go for the All-Inclusive Pass: the flexibility to pop into an extra attraction at the last minute is usually worth more than the 300 SEK Price difference compared to the Essentials Pass.
